I like meeting people one at a time, and going on a walk with them, exploring anything and everything under the sun, from a place of openness. I practice what I call "radical softness" which involves being open to exploring new perspectives from a place of suspended prejudice. I may or may not agree with your perspective, but I'll never shun you for your beliefs. I am not you, and I know not where you come from, so who am I to judge you for your choices?

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: I'm fairly agnostic and open to all kinds of music and sound art. However these days I find myself listening to a lot of West African music for the Kora, and Afro-Brazilian music. I also enjoy singing along to some Queen, BeeGees, and other classics. :)

Books: Mostly non fiction, although I do occasionally foray into fictional realms. I find myself reading more and more about holistic ways of living in harmony with the earth and my fellow residents of the biosphere. Especially interested in fungi, and their many mysterious and magical ways. Magic also makes an occasional appearance in my reading list.

Movies: I'm mostly into documentaries these days, nature documentaries to be precise. Although I have watched and enjoyed many a mainstream Hollywood offering when I was younger, such as American Gangster, Shawshank Redemption, The Hurricane etc.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I was in Kolkata for an Art project, in 2019. The intention was to stay for just three days and hop on a train back to Mumbai. However I liked the city and my hostel so much, that I stayed an extra three weeks, exploring the city and returning to the hostel for some wonderful conversation with new patrons each evening. I made some really wonderful friends during this stay, many of which I'm still in touch with to this day.

I can talk about most things under the sun, and find possible links with most other things. The intention of the conversation may not be to teach, but that doesn't mean we won't learn and discover something new. :)

What I Can Share with Hosts

I love to cook, I'm happy to make you delicacies from different parts of India. I am happy to lend you an ear if something is troubling you. No judgment here. We're all human, and can use a helping hand every now and then. There's no shame in that.
