Overview
About Me
I'm from India, and I wouldn't be surprised if I'm not the first one you've ever met! I study Computer Science in Warsaw, Poland but I am also about to start studying Psychology as a second degree this winter.
I am very analytically bent of mind. I love to solve puzzles. Imagine having to spend weeks silently thinking about a problem, trying to solve it in your head, that's the kind of person I am. I am the kind of person who knows what a 'syzygy' is.
I have a blog, although I have not recently written: https://shreyasvinod.xyz
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Over time though, I've realised that you start to think about everything in an abstract way, and learn to appreciate the little things, the vibrant cultures and rich histories of others. And travelling is fun, and looking at pretty buildings is never a bad thing.
Given my diverse background, I'm an extremely open-minded person and I love to look at perspectives from everybody I can possible meet, and this summer I have the opportunity to be able to travel through Europe, and I decided to try and take advantage of that.
I might have some stories that you might find interesting!
Don't get me wrong, I'm not somebody with sort of revealed perspective on life, I'm just someone who would like to find out about others :)
Interests
Even though my real passions lie in computer science and problem solving, I've always had a love for psychology, and more precisely the philosophical implications of psychology. I'm planning on actually getting something concrete by studying psychology.

Music, Movies, and Books
The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is a book very dear to me, although I've recently lost touch with reading. I'm trying to regain it. I've also recently found my love for The Little Prince :)
I have a (very unorganised) public youtube playlist: https://goo.gl/dnLE5Q
I recently went to Hans Zimmer's 2017 tour concert (it was actually my first concert ever) and it was absolutely brilliant!
I love House, the former TV series, and others like Friends.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Moved to Europe when I was 17 :)
Teach, Learn, Share
I would love to learn to be more creative, and be able to use my hands to illustrate myself in more concise ways. I have a lot to share from my times in India, both good and bad, and I could obviously share my knowledge of computer science with you if that is something you are interested in. We could even talk about psychology or philosophy, and I would love to know about your country's history. Can you also teach me to cook?
What I Can Share with Hosts
My experiences and thoughts of having lived in a diverse country like India and its juxtaposition with Europe.
