About Me
Hey, beautiful stranger—
I’m Anurag, born where rivers meet stories—Begusarai, India. I’m not here just to crash on your couch—I’m here to connect, to listen, to share, and to create memories that don’t need a passport to be remembered.
I’m a wanderer with a creator’s heart. I make videos, sing songs when the mood hits, and dive into mysterious tales that blur the line between reality and wonder. By day, I chase stories; by night, I dream of mountains, music, and meaningful conversations with people like you.
I don’t believe in tourist spots—I believe in hidden corners, local legends, and unexpected laughter. I’d rather cook with your family, dance in your local festival, or get lost in your favorite alley than visit a five-star anything.
I carry no judgment, only curiosity. I don’t care where you come from or what you believe—as long as you believe in kindness, we’ll get along just fine.
I'm here because the world feels more like home when strangers become stories and couches become chapters.
So if you're looking for a guest who’s also a friend, a storyteller, and someone who’s always up for a late-night rooftop chat or an impulsive adventure—let’s make it unforgettable.
Travel Philosophy:
"Don’t just visit places - become a part of them. Because real travel begins when NETWORK ends and hearts connect."

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Because I believe the world isn’t made of countries—it’s made of people.
I’m not here just to find a place to sleep. I’m here to wake up in a stranger’s city and feel at home. I’m here to turn handshakes into hugs, stories into friendships, and ordinary moments into unforgettable memories.
Hotels give you comfort, but Couchsurfing gives you connection. I want to see your city through your eyes, hear your laughter in your language, and experience your world—not as a tourist, but as a guest in your life.
I believe we rise by meeting others, by sharing meals and music, by stepping into each other’s shoes—even just for a little while.
That’s why I’m here.
To connect.
To learn.
To live—truly.
Interests
I live for the thrill of the unknown and the comfort of simple joys.
Traveling isn’t just a hobby—it’s the oxygen to my soul. I love getting lost in new cities, finding stories in strangers’ eyes, and collecting moments that no camera can truly capture.
Hitchhiking taught me that the world is kinder than we think—one ride, one smile, one shared silence at a time.
Trekking brings me closer to nature and myself. The higher I go, the quieter the noise of life gets.
Cooking is my love language—especially when it’s shared. I enjoy experimenting with flavors, learning local dishes, and turning kitchens into memories.
Driving gives me freedom. Long roads, good music, and no fixed destination—that’s my therapy.
Singing? Oh yes—I sing when I’m happy, I sing when I’m lost, and sometimes just to make a boring moment feel magical.
And above all, I’m an adventure seeker. Whether it’s climbing cliffs, trying something for the first time, or just saying yes to the unexpected—count me in.
Life’s too short for “maybe later.” If it excites me, I’m in.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music
Music is my emotional compass. I vibe with everything—from soulful Indian classical and Sufi to indie, lo-fi, and heart-thumping Bollywood beats. I sing too, sometimes just to feel free. If you’ve got a guitar or just a tune in your heart, let’s jam!
Books
I’m drawn to books that leave echoes—mystery, philosophy, real-life stories, and books that mess with your mind in the best way. Titles like The Alchemist, The Power of Now, or anything by Paulo Coelho and Amish Tripathi really speak to me.
Movies
Cinematic stories inspire my own creativity. I enjoy thought-provoking films, documentaries, and anything with deep characters and emotions. Into the Wild, Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara, Interstellar, and mysterious thrillers are my go-tos. I also have a soft spot for classic Bollywood nostalgia and travel films.
If you have a favorite song, a hidden-gem film, or a book that changed your life—I’d love to discover it with you.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Once, while travelling through a remote region, I got picked up by a complete stranger who didn’t speak my language—but shared his food, his music, and even took a detour just to show me his favorite sunset spot on a hill no tourist would ever find.
We didn’t exchange many words, but in that silence, I felt more connected to humanity than ever before.
It reminded me that kindness is a universal language, and that sometimes the best journeys aren’t on maps—they’re in moments.
That single ride turned into a lifelong memory—and that's why I keep traveling.
Teach, Learn, Share
Teach:
I’d love to teach you how to cook some delicious Indian dishes—from spicy street-style snacks to soulful home recipes. I can also share my tips on content creation, storytelling, and how I use AI to turn ideas into videos. And if the vibe is right, I might even teach you a Bollywood song or two!
Learn:
I’m a forever student of life. I want to learn your culture, your stories, your favorite meal, and even the words that don't translate in English. I’m especially eager to learn new cooking styles, survival tips from fellow travelers, and anything that challenges my comfort zone.
Share:
I’ll share my experiences, my songs, my laughter, and if you let me—my time, energy, and presence. Whether it’s a cup of chai, a wild road story, or a walk in your favorite part of town, I believe the best things in life are the ones we share.
What I Can Share with Hosts
First and foremost—respect, kindness, and good vibes.
I know opening your home to a stranger is an act of trust, and I don’t take that lightly. I’ll treat your space with care, be mindful of your routines, and always leave it better than I found it.
In return, I bring stories from the roads less traveled, songs from the soul, and if you're up for it—a home-cooked Indian meal that might just become your new favorite. I’d love to share my knowledge of content creation, YouTube, and how I use AI to turn ideas into art. I can even teach you how to sing a Hindi song or two!
Whether it's deep conversation over tea, help in the kitchen, or just peaceful company—I’ll bring my full self, with gratitude in my heart.
Because for me, it’s not just about a place to stay. It’s about sharing life, even if only for a moment.
