ABOUT ME

I love traveling and meeting interesting people, always looking to find interesting stories and learn from everyone I meet.On a journey of self discovery. Hoping to do that in one lifetime.
I enjoy CS because one can only enjoy all the benefits of travelling while getting to know a place through the perspective of a local. I like to know a place through eyes of someone who lives there and can introduce me to the culture and philosophy of the place.
I am very happy to cook a meal for my host as a gesture of gratitude and appreciation. I am almost completely plant based to the meal would also have to be vegan / vegetarian. I try to live environmentally conscious and sensitive to local communities.

After having travelled to about 30+ countries I think CS offers a great opportunity specially for those who like to socialise while also saving a few bucks on a cold hotel bed. At the moment I cannot host but I'm always up for meeting and offering company.

I respect personal boundaries and space and would also appreciate to be given the same courtesy while being hosted/ hosting.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because I don't think travel should always come with a price tag and I can do my bit to help out a budget traveler and hope that the karma comes back to me. I love having meaningful conversations with people from across the globe. I've learnt the most from people I've met from different cultures and countries. I think the best way to get to know a place is through it's people and hence love CS

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Every new place I see and all the amazing people I meet on the road.
Getting off on a high mountain pass in the Himalayas and trekking my way to a blue virgin mountain lake and camping there has been one of my most savored experience.
Exploring a streets of Brussels with a complete stranger on my very first day out of India and so many more stories which I'd love to share in person.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I enjoy talking about travel and specially introduce them to India and its lovely culture. I also enjoy sharing Indian cuisine and would love to cook something special for my hosts as a thank you gesture.
