I've been lucky enough to have had many great experiences abroad in which I was introduced to all the great places that I never would have found on my own. I thought I would return the favor, and connect with some interesting people along the way!

ABOUT ME

I love to read, write, get together with friends at the bar, watch films, and listen to live music. I'm originally from the beautiful Pacific Northwest. (Note: you really ought to be heading to Seattle or Portland instead of here!) I like to stay active and go on adventures, both local and faraway.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I traveled around Europe with my brother for a few weeks after graduating from high school. We didn't do the best job with our itinerary, so we ended up relying on serendipity and the friendliness of strangers. Probably not the smartest way to go about it, but we met a lot of interesting people.

音乐、电影和书籍

I grew up listening to new wave, indie rock, and electronica. London Calling is one of my favorite albums. I enjoy the films of Spike Jonze, Werner Herzog, and really anything with an overacting Nick Cage (basically all of his performances). As for books, I read for a living so it's hard to narrow it down, but I always find myself returning to JD Salinger's Nine Stories.

A friend and I spent a week one March driving around a still-frozen Iceland. I'm not sure I'll ever see such beauty again.
