Two friends looking to explore Italian lifestyle and make good memories that they would cherish for a lifetime with native Italian families on their trip to Italy in the month of May.
Shubh Chawla (21 year old) and Harman Singh ( 24 year old) both of us hail from India, New Delhi and both of us have done a bachelors in commerce from the University of Delhi. We are currently working in France as English language assistants under the team of Ministry of Education. We are on a journey to explore Europe and so far we have covered 6+ countries. We are all thrilled to continue with this experience of exploring the world.
PS. Both of us are fully vaccinated.
Harman - I worked as an accountant for 2 years in India and quit my job to move to France when I got the opportunity to work there as it was my childhood dream to come here. I like to play football, I like cooking and I love to be close to nature and green places. Also, I like mountains and l do hiking from time to time. I believe that life is short. So, my goal is to travel the world, meet new people and experience different cultures.

Shubh- A young and motivated individual who aims at seeking perfection in every single attempt. Facing every situation with a pleasing smile is my moto of life. Currently working as an ambassador to India for my exchange program (Assistant de langue) managed by Ministry of Education under Govt. of France. I have also worked with Govt. of Delhi as a management intern. I am on my way to explore the world and make some good memories that shall last forever in my heart.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We are on Couchsurfing because we think it is the best way to explore new places and meet new people. We aim to make new friends through Couchsurfing and share life experiences with them.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Harman - A few years ago, I went on my first backpacking solo trip in the mountain region of India called Spiti Valley. It was the best thing that happened to me as I got to me a lot of other solo travelers, make new friends and share life's experiences with them. I stayed at the habitants of the village and even got a chance to work in the farm. This was a very enriching experience for me as I come from a big city in India. So to live the life of a local person from a village and eat with them was something memorable for me.

Shubh -

Recently I worked as a woofer in the beautiful fields of Normandie. I lived with an unknown French family for a week and worked as a farmer on their fields. It was a difficult but a wonderful experience as I experienced the true day in the life of a farmer. Learning how to drive a tractor and getting acquainted with animal husbandry are few of the highlights.

What I Can Share with Hosts

We believe that life is beautiful and each person in this world has a story to tell and life expriences to share.
We come from a country which is diverese and rich in culture. So we would like to share our country's culture and life experiences with the host and at the same time, learn about theirs. Maybe teach our hosts a few words in Hindi which is our mother tongue
Hopefully, we are able to give them the want to visit India and would like to invite them in our homes in Delhi if they decide to visit our country!
