Hello! My name is Shu-Mei. Originally born and bred in Malaysia, lived in Australia for 13 years. I have recently moved to Europe to meet beautiful people and experience the world as I travel to open my eyes, mindset and perspectives from all walks of earth.

Just like most of the Couchsurfing community, I don't like to travel to just tick off the touristy checklist. I love to immerse myself with the locals/travellers, taste delicious food, learn real history and experience real culture. I love to give back to the CS community by creating genuine friendships, exchanging stories, maybe taste my "cooking" but mostly to create wonderful memories together. This is the true meaning of couchsurfing and knowing what it is like to be alive in the country I'm visiting! I have also hosted other couchsurfers in my accommodation as I travel when I can.
