ABOUT ME

A typical Raleigh-ian.

Born and raised in Kuala Lumpur. Had enough of traffic jams, rushing and going through life like a robot.

Done traveling back and forth Kota Kinabalu and a fishing village in Tawau, Sabah, which is in north of Borneo. Spending most of my free time interacting with indigenous people, trekking through the tropical rain forest and taking a dip in the sea.

Making the most out of this BEAUTIFUL place called Sabah :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've hosted friends at the fishing village where i conducted a study on wild Irrawaddy dolphins.

Now that I'm done with my field work, I am based permanently in Kota Kinabalu. Until I finish up my thesis.

Interests

trekking and hiking. dipping in rivers. diving when i have the money. interacting with people from different backgrounds. experiencing new traditions, cultures and way of life.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Being in the middle of a barracuda tornado.

Survived 12 days in the jungle.

Built a gravity water feed system.
