ABOUT ME

Slightly an impulsive traveller. Over the years I've lost the total sense of distances. Curiosity is still the fuel :)

I'm Indian by ethnicity and coming from a culture that is so original, deep-rooted and one of the oldest - nothing fascinates me more than different cultures around the world, their traditions and origins..., especially their knowledge/wisdom, ideologies and the reason behind their existence.
Or simply put, curious about why you are the way you are!

I'll travel till the end and then I'll travel some more :D

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've couchsurfed a few times so far and almost all my experiences have been anything between humbling to a total blast. What amuses me the most is this carefree exchange between strangers and the unspoken quick bonds which sometimes last a lifetime. The instant trust in sharing their vulnerability and even deep secrets is simply fascinating and in a way liberating. Maybe the unadulterated solace sets you free.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music - appreciate all genres, totally a mood music person. You give me a mood and I'll give you amazing artists :)

Movies - I love movies! What a medium to convey a message. But then again everything except horror and some fantasy (never watched LOTR or HP :/ I know..I know..)

Books - Dead Poets Society ("The human race is filled with passion. And medicine, law, business, engineering, these are noble pursuits and necessary to sustain life. But poetry, beauty, romance, love, these are what we stay alive for") and lots more

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Travelled to Antarctica, survived the Drake's passage and chilled with 4 types of penguins and 2 types of seals.

Launched India's first smallest satellite with a help of few friends and ISRO into low earth orbit in space. Yep, I'm an engineer \m/

Skydived coz I got bored one day.

Cracked stereotypes and broke free from societal norms. I'll explain when we meet, quite a long story.

Yea, I do have existential questions pop up quite frequently. You got answers? I'm all ears :D

Minimalism - If someone can teach me efficient ways or tips on transitioning into minimalism, your drink's on me.
Books and Shoes...dammit. How does a woman get rid of her love for them shoes :/
