About Me
“Hello! I’m Shyamal , a 32 year-old A tourist guide from Sri Lanka, Kandy . I’m an adventurous spirit with a deep love for traveling and connecting with people from different cultures. I believe that the best way to truly experience a place is through the eyes of a local, which is why Couchsurfing is my go-to way to explore new destinations.
I’m a friendly, open-minded, curious person who enjoys like photography swimming, camping hike, and sport lovers, . I’m always up for a good conversation, whether it’s about travel stories, books, music, or life in general.
When I travel, I like to immerse myself in the local culture—trying new foods, learning the language, and understanding the customs. I’m a firm believer in the idea that we learn the most from the people we meet along the way, which is why I’m excited to meet new friends through Couchsurfing.
As a guest, I’m respectful, clean, and considerate of my host’s space and rules. I’m always eager to help out around the house and contribute in any way I can. If you host me, you can expect someone who values the experience as much as the destination.
As a host, I love welcoming people into my home and sharing the hidden gems of my city. I’m always excited to exchange stories, cook a meal together, or just hang out and learn from each other. My goal is to make sure my guests feel comfortable and have a memorable stay.
I’m looking forward to meeting fellow travelers and locals alike, and hopefully creating some lasting friendships along the way!”
