Overview
About Me
I grew up in Denver, Colorado and pretty much lived my whole life here. Denver has always been the perfect place for me. It has the perfect blend of people and activities that I never get bored with things to do in my own back yard. For the past 12 years, I have been working in medical education specifically building educational programs for surgical skills training. I am a life coach and I have a strong passion for self development. I've built an internship program for undergraduate college kids to help give them some skills to get into graduate school. I recently discovered that I love camping and getting to the natural outdoors.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
For 12 years, I worked in medical education. I decided that it was time for a change. I have a plan to spend a little more than a month on a road trip around Western North America. I wanted to take this time to see some sites, visit some friends and more importantly to take a break from life to figure out what I really want to do. I am the begging of a new journey and I am excited to see what people I meet along the way. I figure that couchsurfing would be the perfect place to start.
Interests
I play volleyball in a league twice a week. I love to read, fantasy, suspense, self-help, zombies, you name it. I love biking, currently only doing road biking but plan to get into mountain biking in the next year or two. I also enjoy city life. Seeing the hustle and bustle of a busy city makes me feel alive.
