ABOUT ME

OFF TOPIC AND FYI: It always shows that I've last logged in from somewhere in Ontario. This is almost always incorrect, and I'm not really sure how to fix it. Most of the time I'm logging in from Montreal!

Things are changing so much for me right now that I don't even know what to say about myself anymore! Some mainstays about myself are that I like knitting, music, cooking, walking around, biking and laughing!

PHILOSOPHY

I don't really have one yet. I keep changing my mind about how I feel about this world. There are times when I just feel like there's so much oppression and I can't understand how/why anyone can live in it, and then other times I've overwhelmed by the beauty of it all.

I'm interested in all types of things. My favourite things would probably be knitting and music. I also really enjoy political discussions/debates, talking about different sources of oppression (in order to try to get rid of it!), talking about sexuality and gender.

It doesn't fit in with the rest of the stuff, but I'm also really into clothes (and I have A LOT!)

音乐、电影和书籍

I'm not a huge movie buff, but I really enjoy comedies. I'm into pretty much anything Micheal Ian Black, Micheal Showalter and David Wain do (Wet Hot American Summer, The Ten, Stella (TV show)). I also like old 80s movies like the Breakfast Club/Pretty In Pink/Sixteen Candles, even though part of me knows they're awful!

Music is a pretty big thing for me. I'd like to say I'm into a bit of everything but indie pop/twee pop is my weakness. I'm also a recovering Morrissey/Smiths fan (I still love the music, but find Morrissey as a person to be pretty annoying!) I could also go on and on and on about how much I love Neutral Milk Hotel (but I won't... now!)

As far as books go, I haven't got much time with knitting and neuroscienceing to do anything other than read up on those two topics. I'm well read in both fields though! :)

This isn't terribly exciting, but I think one of my favourite moments in life was getting to swim in the (Atlantic) ocean! I'm easy to please!
