About Me

Hey!
I‘m Anastasiia but you can call me just Sia. I love to travel and get to know new people and places. I‘m really into discovering new cool locations and making photos or videos there. Of course I do like to hang out, but still I‘m not a party-animal.

Not long time ago I started filming videos for YouTube about my life after moving to Germany and giving some tips to other foreigners willing to make it through the same way I did.

My little story:

After graduating from school I moved to Poland and spent there 1 year at the university of fine arts. Soon I got that art is not something I want to study, so I made it to Germany willing to study Computer Science. I attended a foundation course in Halle (Saale) for one year, then I redecided as of what I want to do in my life. So now I‘m fresh in Hamburg, only starting my International Buisness Bachelor.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm addicted to traveling and like meeting new people, especially from other countries. As for me, it's interesting to know something new about different countries and cultures, about the ways of living. And I'm sure couchsurfing gives such an opportunity for people from all over the world.

Music, Movies, and Books

I really like alternative and punk rock music such as Nickelback, Green Day, Linkin Park. But still cannot say I'm a big fan of one of them, only music, nothing more. Moreover, I like electronic music (less than rock), it's about David Guetta and Tokio Hotel (I'm an alien). Anyway, as for me, music of every genre can be good or bad.

Actually I don't have any favorite movies as it would mean I like it that much, that can watch it many times. But I don't really do like that - for me movies are only of 2 types: the ones I would watch broadcasted and ones I wouldn't.

I'm into reading fantasy books when I have time for that. But still my favorite authors are Max Frei and Paulo Coelho.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

This winter made it to 4 countries in 2 days. It was a bit hasty but worth it for sure!
