ABOUT ME

Well, I graduated from university in 2007 with a degree in journalism. I haven't quite decided what I'd like to do yet, so I chose to be a English assistant at 2 lycées in Orléans, France. I was there for 7 months and decided to come back to the States.

I grew up in Indiana in the US, and I'm glad to have moved. There is so much to see in the world to be planted in one tiny section of it! Right now, I'm looking for jobs, and the hunt is taking me to Texas and Colorado.

I don't smoke or do drugs (I'm not judgmental if someone else does tho), but I don't mind going out for drinks...

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Well, as of right now, I've stayed with three different Couchsurfing hosts in Luxembourg, Brussels, and Bordeaux. All have been great experiences. I feel you can learn so much more about an area if you stay with someone who lives there. Totally recommend it.

兴趣

I love to travel and experience different languages, even if I can't understand them. I love music and eating great food, but that's pretty basic.

I like tennis and hockey. I'm trying to get myself to get back into sports, but it's been quite a while now. Maybe after I get something to eat...

I am interested in architecture (especially modern), but I'm not sure if it's strong enough for me to go back to university for another degree. I'm interested in art and advertising and think that might be the sector I'll go into.

Books: James Patterson (I really like the genre and his style of writing)

Movies: Pretty much any James Bond film, Any of the 'Bourne' movies, I Heart Huckabees, Dirty Love (I know it was voted the Worst Movie of 2006, but it's still funny! And Jenny McCarthy's cool.)

Music: I don't have specific artists so much as genres. If I like it, I just do for whatever reason. I like techno and vocal house music, some jazz, some rock music, some r&b and rap (but not a lot), some pop/Top 40 music. The list is much more extensive. It boils down to the beat.
