Have lived majority of my childhood and adult life in India. Caught the travel bug in 2016, and did my first ever solo trip. After which couldn't stop travelling haha, which has taken me to over 50 countries (as of 2023)

Что привело меня на Couchsurfing

Been a solo traveller for a couple of years now.
Meeting new people in different countries, understanding their culture, traditions and way of life is something I look for in my travels and the best way to do so is meeting as many locals as I can during my travels.
Couchsurfing is a great platform that connects travellers with each other where they can share their travel experiences, teach each other their language, make them try all the delicious local food and explore the city/country from a locals point of view.
I feel that's what seperates a tourist from a traveller.
I'd be humbled to spend some time with you and your family/friends , have a good time over endless conversations , share food and experiences.

MUSIC
Honestly depends on my mood, guess thats for everyone.
I prefer calm and soothing music. I feel music gives a very good reflection of how a person is actually.
But I am a sucker for the weeknd !

MOVIES

Not a big movie buff. Rarely go to the theatre, but i wouldn't mind seeing a movie in your language and be absolutely clueless the entire time haha
Some of the ones I enjoyed - Wall of Wall Street (you know why :p), Interstellar, The martian (fan of Sci Fi)
, Hangover ( who doesn't like that one), other military and good suspense movies.
Can recommend some bollywood movies (in my language) to you lol.

Netflix is cool sometimes, some of the shows I like are Breaking bad, narcos, GOT (the last season sucked)
That 70s show , friends etc

BOOKS
Have gotten into reading recently, some of the ones that I have read are :
Rich dad poor dad, Autobiography of Elon Musk, notes from underground and We want you to be rich.

My first ever solo travel in UAE
- Visited the highest building in the world (Burj Khalifa)
- Rhode the world's Fastest Rollercoaster ( Formula Rossa,Abu Dhabi)
Hongkong and Macau
- Got lost on a hike on an island in Hong Kong (made my way back fortunately haha)
- Did the world's highest bungee jump in Macau
Nepal
- Did my first ever paragliding over Sarangkot hill, Pokhara
- Went there for the second time, taking a road trip from Delhi to Pokhara
Malaysia
- Got chased by some crazy folk (I got myself into a small fight lol ask me)
Cambodia
- Almost got stabbed by a drug dealer (will share)
- Ate crocodile for the first time
Thailand
- loads of crazy stories lol
Bhutan
- Almost fell off a cliff hiking at Tigers nest, Paro.
South korea
- Almost missed my flight (got slightly drunk off soju the last night)
Vietnam
- travelled for an entire month covering three countries (Taiwan,SK and Vietnam)
- accidentally tried dog for the first and last time.
Egypt
- Did Scuba diving for the very first time
Western and Central Europe
- did 2+weeks backpacking in Europe at 20years old (dream come true)
- almost missed my flight back from Vienna, Austria
- tried absinthe for the first time in Prague.
- lost money at the Charles bridge in Prague
- tried the space cake in Amsterdam (never doing that again)
Kashmir, India Almost got shot (ask me the story)
Russia
-Visited the edge of the world (teriberka) on the barrents sea in extreme north
-Did north to south of russia (almost 4000+Km's)
Armenia
-Spent a month in this tiny nation, deeply exploring their culture & way of living.
Iran (Persia)
- The best people I have come across. Didn't take any accomodation, just stayed with locals for an entire month

I'd like to learn about your culture, traditions and language. Meeting new people in a foreign country is an experience , and to learn some insights about their way of life is what i am looking for.
In return I could teach you my language, share my knowledge and perspective of the world , some details about my country (that only a local could share) , maybe even teach you how to cook some indian food ( lol don't expect much , ain't that good at cooking) , take a walk , travel together & much more...

But overall I just look for open minded people who like sharing as well as learning new things, which I beleive is the best exchange between travellers.
