Started a "new life" 2010 by qitting my job and creating free time. Changed my domicile from Germany to Switzerland and started traveling again. Founded a community for Stutends and world-Traveller in St. Gallen.

ABOUT ME

Intelligent, interested open for new impressions and ideas. Interested in Culture, music (every), literature, art, politics, new communication media.
philosphical questions about truth, what does the world go round, where does the evolution (biological, social, öconomic) go to? What does science tell me about the World? How do we function psychologically? How do we gain fredom? I love reading, walking, listeneing or making music, discussing, meditate, be silent, be on my own.
I have three adult children and one 10 year old dog.

PHILOSOPHY

the personal aim is to harmonize our longing for freedom with our loning for connectedness.
Mostly I feel good. Depressed I am if I am in Trouble or sstruggle with friends, close relatives or my beloved.
Although i see the great risks the world is in (ecological, political, economical, spiritual) I have an optimistic view on the future.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I offer a place to stay for up to two (world-)traveler for up to 3 nights in a house, which is home for 8 people - mostly students.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Since i live inSwitzerland i have hosted some people from CS and had only positve experience.
Sometimes people even stay here without me being in.

I would like to learn more about renovating in my house especially the terace.
I have pracitcal experiences in other parts of renovating ( f.e. covering walls)
i do know quit a lot about science : medicine, biology, psychology, sociology, physics, maths.
I know about litarature, little about arts.
