About Me

Chatty and friendly, I love going on adventures and making new friends from all walks of life.. I play guitar and sing in a folk-pop band called Wildflowers. Vegan, animal lover, enjoy cooking, healthy and active, but this is counteracted by my love of a good party. Very respectful of other peoples life styles, have an easy going, freewheeling outlook on life.

Never say never!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

When I lived with my mum we hosted a few people and I loved meeting everyone and enjoyed the indepth conversations and hearing peoples stories. I think it seems like the most rewarding way to travel. I like helping people out and making friends is one of my favourite past times..

People, Music, Literature, Song-Writing, Theatre/ Film, If a TV series is good, I have been known to get lost for days enthralled. I'm the same with reading, I think I read The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo trilogy in a week because I literally can't stop if the story is good. I also love festivals and get excited about vegan cafe's.

Music, Movies, and Books

Directors: Tarintino, Wez Anderson, Hayao Miyazaki, Spielberg,
I love indie/ art/ foreign films, but equally love cheesy American movies like Mean Girls. I also love New Zealand movies such as The Dark Horse, Whale Rider, Boy, Eagle Vs Shark.

Music - I am driven by good lyrics over rhythm. I like artists with something to say. I think I mostly listen to Rock, Folk, Blues, good pop, grunge, classical.... The best show I ever saw was Stevie Wonder in Detroit last year (2014) Out of this world!!!!

Here's a link to my band Wildflowers if you fancy checking us out :)

BOOKS: crime fiction, fantasy and heart warming tales.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I taught music and held puppet making workshops with children from 3 to 16 in Lebanon. We were high up in the mountains among the cedars. I will never forget Lebanon's kindness and generosity.
