ABOUT ME

I'm an Australian living in Melbourne with my girlfriend, Sara (https://www.couchsurfing.com/people/sara-durante), and we're planning on doing an exchange semester in the USA next year. I'm studying psychology, forensic science and chemistry, and I still haven't quite figured out what I wanna do when I grow up; I'll get there. For fun I play guitar in a band, go to gigs, binge TV series, explore new places and talk nonsense over a few drinks. I'd like to work for NASA but it hasn't happened yet, so in the meantime I read about the universe.
I like to have a laugh with people and I'm pretty good at taking nothing seriously – sometimes this results in my foot being placed firmly in my mouth, but I don't mean any real harm, honest.

My girlfriend and I are keen to have some people stay with us in Melbourne before we head overseas in 2016, where we hope to meet some wonderful people who can show us around. We like the idea of seeing sites off the beaten track, which is why we're looking forward to hosting and being hosted and meeting new people.

Also trekking through the Peruvian Andes was pretty cool too.
