Originally from India but moved to Gothenburg, Sweden in 2016. I have got a new found love for travelling. Hiking and adventures are always a plus. I'm also interested in architecture and history of places I visit so I like to do some sightseeing and go on city tours. I think meeting fun, new people while I'm at it is brilliant. I love playing and watching football and I am into cars a bit since that is what I study. I prefer having a chat with some beer in a quieter pub with good music but lunch outdoors or long walks around the city are also equally satisfying.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have started to get into travelling lately and couchsurfing seems like the perfect fit for a guy that wants to travel around Europe.

In my few months in Gothenburg I have met quite a few exchange students and it is fascinating talking to them about their culture and how even small, fun, insignificant things about different cultures is so interesting. Meeting more people around while travelling is even more exciting now.
Also, I love to meet and talk to creative people in any sense be it photography, art, film making, writing, designing etc. I genuinely find it inspiring talking to them and listening to their thoughts and views and I hope to find more such people through couchsurfing (fair warning I'm not the most creative person). And finally, of course knowing a local, where you are travelling is always a plus.

I am also willing to host which entails similar positives except the travelling. But, I am always in for showing people around this city since it is so beautiful!

What I Can Share with Hosts

Some nice, engaging conversation! I love learning new stuff so it is nice talking to people with different interests too. Having stayed all my life in India and now for some time in Sweden, I think it is interesting to tell people about culture and how it is so different while wanting to know more about the hosts. I can cook (although not brilliant) some nice Indian recipes if you doesn't mind some spicy food! Also if you are interested in football, it helps since I am pretty mad about it. I am also willing to try new things so if you are adventurous then you have company!
