ABOUT ME
This is a voice of 2 members who happen to co-habitate and co-travel. Co-habitate is apparently not a word, but some koreans tell us that we are living in "co-habitation" which sounds spectacular. We have lived in Busan for 1 year bumping into things along the way as excited bats, sometimes missing the point, sometimes listening in, and other times just sitting and waiting. We are trying to capture what we can and plan to move caves and travel next spring.
PHILOSOPHY
The chicken and the body.
The mind and the egg.
Efficiency is key.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
have hosted and surfed in the past, mostly through people but not through the net so much yet. We're still making so many contacts in our everyday travels that while we have a pretty steady flow of travellers through our door/couch we haven't had many from CS yet.

Music, Movies, and Books
Movies: so many to choose from...latest ones that are good enough to mention are:
Filth and Wisdom, A Scanner Darkly, Children of Men...
Old favourites: The Godfather, Trainspotting...
Books: Recent Reads:
The Weather Makers, Tim Flannery - so depressing, but a must for anyone living or planning to procreate ever
Dark Days - About Canadians that were illegally detained after the September 11th, 2001 plane attacks
The Stand - Stephen King - say what you will about Stephen King, but that book was hard to put down.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
We wend hiking up a mountain last winter, 3 hours to the peak, while we were climbing the trail was packed with ice and children and random people. Once we arrived at the peak, the view was amazing...however that's only the beginning. On the way down we met an middle aged woman and her brother who gave us huge pieces of plastic that we were able to fold into mini slides that we put under our butts and then slid down the mountain on. Because of the ice and the twists and turns on the hill, we were able to slide for 2 hours down the hill on our butts, crashing into trees, each other and tumbling the whole way, laughing like mad children.
Teach, Learn, Share
Korea has a clean water plant with safe available fresh water, but none of the citizens or travelers drink from their taps. Reason? Poor piping and especially holding tanks (the blue things on top of every building in korea).

Countries I’ve Lived In
Canada, Ghana
