Once a girl from a small village in Germany, I have now been living in the city of Cologne for almost two years as a student. After graduating highschool I went on my first adventure in Canada for ten months. Well, after that, I am still not tired of learning languages and discovering new places. Woods, Lakes, the sea and incredible landscapes are so faszinating to me- therefore I chose Canada. Whenever I visit a city I try to find a good bookstore- I could spend hours in there :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think it's the best way to meet locals, make friends in other countries and improve my language skills. I am not the type of traveller who just wants to visit the most famous tourist atractions for a selfie. I prefer the places which seem local and undiscovered by the majority of tourists. And who else can help you out better than a local friend ( you've met via couchsurfing)?
Of course, I can offer the same kind of help in Cologne as well ;)

Interests

I love animals (horses and dogs), sitting on bonfires and listing to music, exploring new areas and trying something new ( for example sports) hiking and pretty much all out door activities. Reading and theatre plays are also interesting.

- well, everything whats on netflix (I have no TV :D): action, fantasy, series (modern family, 13 reasons why, the end of the fucking world, zoo)

Started to read some classics (La historia interminable): Mobby Dick and Oliver Twist are still on my list..

If you want to learn German: Here I am :D If there`s something you always wanted to do, I am usually in. I can share some advices for backpacking or Canada/ USA/ Germany in general. I am a little bit shy at the beginning but after I get used to the foreign language, I think, we could have a good talk.
