I am an avid seeker of knowledge and hope to live a life that will provide me with endless humor and storytelling opportunities as an old man. bicycles, gardens, sustainability, books, music, art, and different cultures are all cornerstones of my life, and all are routinely washed down with quality beer and wine.

I've surfed on red couches, blue couches, green ones and white, lounged my head on their pillows til' morning's first light (and beyond).

i have stared down a harpy eagle, and he has stared down me, from 15 feet in the canopy of the amazon rainforest in ecuador; the encounter lasted ten minutes and he was huge. this was a few days after witnessing a jaguar drink from the rio tiputini as we floated by on a canoe.
