Overview
About Me
Hi! My name is Siddharth, everyone calls me Sid, and I am from India. I am an avid traveler, and I love having new experiences and meeting people from different places and cultures. I mostly travel with my wife. With every trip, we are striking places, experiences and foods off our bucket list, but the funny thing is that it doesn't get any shorter - because we end up adding more things as we meet new people and hear their wonderful travel stories! We both have a minimalist mindset and try to take a similar approach to traveling.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Everyone is a very special person with a very intriguing story! I just love how meeting new people opens me up to new ideas, perspectives, beliefs and makes me more knowledgeable as well as humble at the same time! My biggest reason to be on Couchsurfing is to know some of these people and make a human connection which may end up in a friendship.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I’ve done a 10 day silent meditation camp, where you meditate all day and do not speak even a single word for 10 days. Of course no reading, phones, internet etc. It’s called Vipassana.
Apart from that, I’ve done some of the craziest road trips around the world, a lot of them being in the Himalayas!
Most recently, I participated in the pumpkin regatta in Ludwigsburg, Germany! You can see that in my pictures too.
Teach, Learn, Share
My wife and I love learning about natural history, culture and languages of different places of the world. I also like discussing developments in technology with other enthusiasts - concepts like AI, robotics, blockchain are fascinating to me.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Some travel stories, some cultural insights about India, some great home-cooked Indian food (of course in your kitchen but I can try to get some ingredients myself). Most importantly, a lot of laughs and a good time!
