I like to believe I have had a roller-coaster of a life so far and the journey is still exciting and fresh always.

I graduated with a degree in electrical engineering from IIT Bombay and then worked in an investment bank in London for a few years. I quit in 2009 to look for a more authentic self and started backpacking through India and South east Asia solo. That's when I hit upon yoga and meditation and had some profound experiences. Lived in an Ashram for 8 years after that to explore the path of yoga more deeply.

Last year, I decided to step out with this experience to travel and explore further on my inner journey on my own once again. The journey goes on and on with new hues and new seasons. I am excited for thisnew phase.

I like quiet conversations and loud parties equally.

I am at once introverted and outgoing depending on my mood and the situation.

I am easy to get along with and very accommodating.

I want to travel! I want to make a lifestyle out of travel. That's why I am here. Love hosting travelers and love living on couches when I travel!

Update: Returning to God's Own Country, my first love affair, after 15 years. JAN 9 - 24, 2023. I have the best travel memories in Kerala and hoping to make more this time around. This time I will be doing it solo in my car, my first real roadtrip in India. I hope to visit off the beaten path places with the flexibility of having a car. I am a bit nervous, but excited, that familiar travel vibe. Look forward to meeting you all wonderful people.

Interests

I want to do the undone, I want to go where no one goes, I want to do things differently, I want to explore my own limits.

Trekking tests my health - the limits of my body and mind. I love the mountains and the whole process of preparation, the trekking and the post trek high.

I am recently getting interested to grow my own food. I want to design a house for myself. I want to grow a forest around my home. I am to interested to meet people who have created their own environments.

Music, oh music! Rather lyrics, oh lyrics! Words, poetry, notes - a song can become so much more than just that - it can become a feeling, a memory, an aspiration, a vision, a revelation or so many things. Think Joan Baez and Pink Floyd, Prateek Kuhad and Farid Ayaz, Daft Punk and Brian Ferry. Think Freddie Mercury and Mama Cass, Kumar Gandharv and the Beatles... i could go on and on!
