Overview
About Me
I'm a quiet, considerate person and like to spend time by myself. I often travel alone to really get the feel of a new place so I can it in fully. In saying this, I do like meeting new people particularly locals as I can learn more about their culture and get a new perspective of the world. Back home, I'm a musician and teacher which is rewarding but also stressful and tiring so when I travel, I like to relax and let all troubles go from my mind. Rather then hop from destination to destination, I like to stay in few places for a longer period of time so I can experience them at my own pace and not have to rush through it all.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm couch surfing to meet new and interesting people but also to get away from the drabness and monotony of hotels. I'm a pretty easy going person so if a host is up to hang out I'm always down but if they have things to do, I can easily occupy myself. I'm also doing it to learn about different destinations directly from locals rather then tour guides or pamphlets.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I'm the band leader and lead song writer in a band called Funk Engine back in Sydney and in 2017 we released our second record "Taking a Ride" to a sold out crowd at the local jazz club. I have been a musician since I was three years old and that record is probably the best thing I have ever done musically and my greatest achievement to date. I have done and seen some amazing things in my life but nothing has effected me more then the experience of making that record.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I'm a pianist, bassist and teacher so if anyone wants a lesson, learn their favourite song or just jam I'd be down with that. I can also provide knowledge about Australia, particularly New South Wales if they ever plan on visiting and can show them around if they do.
