COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I joined CS a few years ago, but never really used it. Since I am in Sydney I started getting really into it :)

Interests

My interests...of course traveling as probably most CS members :)
I also love salsa dancing, sailing, hanging out with friends, partying, going to the movies, skiing, hiking, zumba and I just signed up for the University hockey team :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One of the things that I am really proud of is my foundation. I am the chairman of The Optical Foundation. A foundation that does eye testing for children in Ghana and trains Ghanaian Optometry students to become eye specialist in their own country.

Another amazing thing I did is sailing a private boat around the Whitsunday's! Yay! Australia is beautiful!

Teach, Learn, Share

As often said; in one year of traveling your learn more than in one year at school.
And I have to say it's true! Going out of your comfort zone, talking to people out of your normal circle changes someone.
Traveling gave me the confidence that where ever in the world I will go to I can make it!
