I grew up outside of Philadelphia always wanting to be outdoors and itching for something new. I always wanted to go to Colorado so I decided to enroll at the University Of Colorado at Boulder and I fell in love. I loved everything about it and after I graduated I moved to Breckenridge, Co to get a taste of mountain life. After a little over a year in the mountains I wanted a change (and something warm!). So I decided to move to Australia, a dream of mine since I was a child. I have been traveling Australia since October 2016 and don't plan on stopping anytime soon!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am traveling mostly by myself and have heard amazing things about couch surfing. I have especially heard that it is an amazing way to really get involved with the city you are living in a meet locals! Sometimes it can be hard to meet people traveling by yourself, and can feel lonely at times so I figured id give it a shot!

Music, Movies, and Books

Almost famous-all time favorite movie! I love watching movies it is my favorite past time, besides scary movies they are too much for me! I love jam bands and The Grateful Dead, I love rock, Bob Dylan, The Doors, and Led Zeppelin particularly. I love Nahko and Medicine for the People, along with Mumford and Sons. One of my favorite books is One Flew Over the Coo Coos nest .

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In Uni I took a road trip throughout Utah and it was one I will never forget! Constantly hiking and experiencing nature in a way I never have before was truly beautiful! I think a lot of times when people travel they forget how great their own country can be and that's why this memory particularly stands out to me!

Teach, Learn, Share

I love music! It is the essence of my being and I try to find live music events everywhere I go! Music can bring people together in a beautiful way and it gets people to share their journey in a whole different light! Whenever I am music reminds me of where I come from and where im going. With just one song you can be transported right back to the moment you heard it the first time! I just love it, I love traveling and to me they go hand and hand. Everyone needs a soundtrack to their life!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can adjust to any situation I am put in and can get along with just about anyone! I love to talk and offer my opinion but I also think being able to be silent and not feel awkward is important! I enjoy cooking and miss having a kitchen of my own! I am open for just about anything and would love to share my experience with others and get to know theirs as well!
