I am 20 years old and I live on a small farm with 4 icelandic horses in a forest. Right now I am having a gab year before the university. I have been three months in New Zealand, and have had a short trip to Fiji too so far, but the main purpose with the gab year is to do more travelling! :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I made a profile on couchsurfing because I think it is far more interesting to meet local people than staying at a hotel. The best thing about travelling is to meet other travellers and local people because you get a lot of inspiration for your journey and you go far deeper under the surface of the country.

Interests

Playing music is a big part of my life, I play the piano, flute and I sing. Being a volunteer on a Viking museum is also a very big part of my life, the people on the museum is like family to me, and I love to pass on all the historic knowlegde of the Vikingage to other people.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Skydiving in New Zealand at the Franz Josef and Fox glacier was the most beautiful experience I have ever had.

Teach, Learn, Share

It is so interesting to learn music and songs from other people and countries, and I would love to share the music and songs from my contry with fellow travellers and hosts. I would also love to share the history of the Viking age with anyone interested.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share songs, music and history with the host. I can share a interested and open mind I love to learn about other people and cultures. I would also love to help in the house, I have had two jobs with cleaning, and I work in a kindergarden too, so nursing is no problem and I really like to cook, and help in the kitchen.
