Hi! I am a student studying abroad in Mannheim Germany. I am working towards my Bachelors of Music with a focus as a singer/songwriter. I studied abroad once before in High School in Austria and loved it! Traveling, learning new languages and meeting new people is a big passion of mine.

I have a boyfriend back in Chicago. He and I have been dating for about a year and are trying the long distance thing while I'm here. We just got back from a trip to Ireland together that was amazing. That country is gorgeous!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm looking to meet people in my new hometown Mannheim Germany. I would love to meet up with someone who would be willing to practice German with me. I am always looking to get better.

I also love traveling and this seemed like a good community to get involved in that would help further that passion.

Music, Movies, and Books

My all time favorite books will forever be the Harry Potter series. They were my childhood and I've made so many long lasting friendships based on our mutual love of the series. I enjoy any good fantasy novel but also love reading in general and am not opposed to any genre.
Movie favorites are harder as it totally depends on the mood I'm in. I love a good RomCom but also enjoy thrillers. But my all time favorite movie I think will forever be Back to the Future.

My favorite artist has always been Sara Barielles. She was my go to girl for a long time. Right now I am really into Maggie Rogers and Young the Giant.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I went sky diving a few summers ago and it was incredible.

I am love learning new languages and am always looking to practice my German. I also am looking to learn guitar.
