ABOUT ME

I'm a very relaxed person who likes to hang out in coffee shops by day and bars by night. I love talking and joking with people I've never met before as well as with life long friends!

I feel very fortunate to always have travelled a lot and met interesting people from very different cultures. With my family I have lived in three different countries in Europe. And I just can't seem to stop! As soon as I got old enough I started travelling by myself. In stead of continuing straight to university from high school I worked and saved up money to go see more of the world. I recently spend 9 months in China learning Chinese and meeting wonderful people!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I first heard of Couch Surfing on the Trans Sibirian on my way to China. Didn't think much of it until half a year later when I was invited to a dinner with my friends by one of my friends CS host. Fantastic dinner! And we went to her place after dinner and learned a lot about life in Shanghai. It was a really good and interesting experience, so I'd like to start couch surfing and host couch surfers myself.

Interests

I love traveling, seeing new places, meeting people with different lives, cultures, habits and philosophies!
When I don't travel, I read a lot of books - pretty much for the same reasons.
I can't imagine to ever stop learning! If a day goes by in which I haven't learned anything it almost feels wasteful.. I am interested in pretty much everything I come by - maths, photography, music, history, art, literature, computer programing, languages, nature, cooking, environment, politics, philosophy...
