ABOUT ME

I work full time for Information Providers. I graduated from the University of Iowa in may and spent my "junior" year studying abroad in Germany. In my free time, I am trying to travel around and see as much as I can. I have friends in many countries that I would love to visit again and again. I also love to make new friends and try new things. I am up for whatever, so I usually end up having a blast. I am also always doing research on my international flavored coffee house I am planning to open in a few years!

PHILOSOPHY

I believe that everything can be made better with a smile. I love to avoid drama if at all possible. I go with the flow. I also love to make new friends and my friends are like my family. I would do anything for them.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

While abroad, I was able to offer my floor to surfers, and now that I have my own place, my floor and our couch is open!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have couch surfed around Germany and a few other countries in Europe and hosted a few times in my little flat in Dortmund. I have only had the best experiences and hope to continue the trend!

Interests

I love to read books, and trade them as I travel. I also enjoy knitting and watching movies. I love to play video games. I enjoy a good glass of wine and night out dancing. I study culture and history and love learning about both.

Music, Movies, and Books

Yes, yes, and yes please. I love a variety of all of these. I am up for most things at least once, not including horror movies or techno music. But all the rest!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I spent a year living in Qatar. Learning about a culture so vastly different from my own was amazing. I also was able to do some research for my senior thesis.

Teach, Learn, Share

I am learning how to cook a variety of food and can knit fairly well. I speak some German. I would love to learn more of all of these and many more.
