Hi,
I am Silas, born in 1993 and living in Bern, Switzerland. I am an amateur cross country and cyclocross rider and cycling tourist. Now I am traveling in Morocco for three Months From 2018-2019 I cycled from Switzerland to Nepal. Beside that I cycled in Uganda, where I worked for 6 months, to Barcelona and back to Switzerland and a tandem tour in Slovenia and many others.
For me traveling with a bicycle is the biggest freedom. It is slow enough to see a lot and easy to connect with people and fast enough to cover big distance. You can smell feel and see the nature and weather. You can reach places which are unreachable with a car or a motorcycle. For me a very important part is to see how different humans think, live, speak and work. I appreciate long and interesting discussions.
I don't smoke and drink very seldom alcohol, but can eat nearly everything, especially dessert. For myself I cook vegetarian. I would consider myself a clean person. If I am not on the bike I am selling bikes as a sales manager in a cycling shop and studying social work and used to work as a carpenter.
