I'm always unsure how to structure these so here goes:

I'm Silas. I'm 28, live in the us and love to host though at the time of this writing, early December 2024, I haven't had the opportunity to surf much

Im an aspiring gym bro, massive videogame and boardgame nerd, love my beard and am a bit of a hippie in some ways I guess

I love to meet new people wherever I go so when I visit or host, my goal is to talk with surfers, hosts, or just people who I won't neccesarily see again. I'm happy to of course but part of what I love about CS is that you may meet the person in a week from then, or never again. And that's so interesting to explore doing

Past that, hmu if I sound cool, I love drinks or a 420 smoke or just a walk and talk.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To meet people I wouldn't normally meet. When I travel places on my own, if I'm not couchsurfing, I'm in a hotel which is much harder to meet people than staying with them, or having them stay with you. I can offer a place to stay, or be offered a place, gaining new perspective, connection, friendship... What more could I want?
