Well, my name is Sam. I am a comedian and aspiring actor in Edinburgh, but I love to travel as much as I can - not that I can afford it! I'm funny, easygoing and love nothing more than meeting new people. I own a lot of hats. I can lick my elbow.

I've hosted several people, and surfed a little myself.

I love to read, listen to music, go for drinks and chat to friends. I am a social creature - I function best in groups, and don't like being alone. My real passions though are acting and improvised comedy, so if you meet me you can expect to have a few laughs! I also love to cook, so if you can teach me any local delicacies I will be eternally grateful!

Music: I love a bit of ska, reggae, rock, metal, or anything that really makes me think. My favourite music of the moment is Dan Mangan, Lauren O'Connell, Basia Bulat and My Terrible Friend.

Books: The Time Traveller's Wife, The Book Thief, Red Dust, Watchmen, V for Vendetta, Everything is Illuminated, The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes, or anything by:
Christopher Brookmyre, Carl Hiassen, Terry Pratchett, Bill Bryson.

I can teach you some of the basics of improvised comedy, a little Mandarin Chinese and various theatre skills, as well as how to cook a few of my favourite dishes. As for learning, I am open to anything - so all new skills welcome!
