I am a curious person who loves to travel and meet new people. At the moment I am studying journalism, a good field of study for a curious person like me, in Finland, Tampere. I have also lived in Rome for a couple of months while studying there. I love the historical city and its vibe. I have to admit that Italy is my great passion: the language, the culture, the whole country. I just love exploring it.

As a person I am outgoing and open-minded, I love to get to know to new people and their culture. I am specially affascianated of languages: I am alway willing to learn at least a few sentences and frases of a new language. That is one of the reasons why I love travelling. One thing that also describes well my travel is my passion for food. I love to try out the different flavours of different cultures. Even though this far, Italian cuisine is still my favourite.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've hosted once at Tampere. It was such a nice experience that I want to continue hosting when I don't have too much work and studying to do. Also during my own travels the best thing is to meet local people, how know the little secrets of their own city. That's why I am also looking for people to host me during my travels. This far I haven't been to anybody's place yet, but I would love to try!

Music, Movies, and Books

My favourite music has a wide range, but mainly I am into indie and alternative rock and hiphop. Sometimes when I study, I listen classical music.
At the moment my favourite movies are Italian: I love philosofical La Grande Bellezza, funny Tre uomini e una gamba and moving Cinema Paradiso. One of my all time favourite movies is the trilogy of Lord of the Rings and Fight Club. So wide range also in that.
When I was a kid, I used to read books all the time. From that time I still carry with me the nice memories of reading Lord of the Rings and Harry Potter. A bit more recent favourite is John Irving's The Hotel Newhamsphire.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can of course teach you some of my weirdly difficult language Finnish, that is really hard to learn on your own. Maybe I can also share some of my life philosophy with you and help you to find new points of views to the world, haha!
I would love to learn some of your language too and about the cultural differences we have. I am here to widen my perception of life.
