ABOUT ME

Hello, hello!

I'm Silkom and am currently in Copenhagen doing a study exchange of sorts. I grew up in a big, lovely family and I love being surrounded by good people a lot of the time. I like the feeling you get in your tummy when you can't stop laughing and the smell of rain after a long summer.

Life is swell because bands exist and because good things are happening somewhere, every minute of the day. I like how excited dogs get about everything and I like how massive this world is but how tiny it feels sometimes, like when you meet Bob at a bus stop who happens to know your friend Peter and suddenly it makes you wonder about all the people you'll meet and all the places you've been and all the places you'll go.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Although my CS profile is new, I've been in the biz a bit longer than you'd think! With my crazy family travelling all over the place, a visit to one of their houses has always meant dinner with a new couch surfer.
I loved the stories that so many of them told, the hundreds* of languages that a few of them could speak & the diversity of the characters I've met along the way as well. What a wonderful way to travel!

We've also recently hosted two wonderful Germans and a few Swedes along the way as well!
