ABOUT ME

My name is Amanda but lots of my friends call me Chibi! That means little in Japanese. ^.^

I am 23 years old. Usually, I like to engage in conversation and just chill with a cup of tea. I love going out to eat, shopping, and all around exploring! I am passionate about Design, Styling, Beauty and Nerdisms (Comics, Gaming, Conventions, Etc) I would absolutely love to study the Fashions of cultures around the world! I am fascinated by far too many things, I couldn't possibly even begin to list them all here! I really just want to experience life to the fullest! :)

PHILOSOPHY

Go through life with an open mind and just let judgments go. Basically, stop worrying about what life SHOULD be about, or what its MEANING is, and stop wanting to live OTHER people's lives. You only have one, and its all yours, and you are lucky to have it at all so take advantage.

Oh, also. I believe the secret to happiness is love. So corny and simple, but whether it's from family, friends, or your significant other love can put you above and beyond your most difficult obstacles. Life is so much better when you have someone you love by your side, sharing all of it with you. Even if you love yourself, that also makes you happy! Love is the answer. :)

I am very new to the idea of couch surfing. I dream of traveling, though and I'm young, so I have time. :) And this seems like such a great way to do it!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I haven't done many things of significance yet. However I have helped a lot of people as I am the person many of my friends come to when they are feeling really depressed. I love helping people. Although it's small, I think that helping your friends is pretty amazing. At least is makes me feel amazing. :)

Teach, Learn, Share

I'd think I could teach about America in general for those who want to know about it. I am no Historian, but I can try! I can also attempt to teach some English, if need be.

The reason I want to couch surf at all is because I want to submerge myself in other cultures. Meaning, I want to learn as many languages at possible, learn the etiquette of such countries, history, government. You know the boring stuff. ;) No but really, as much as I am interested in all the exciting adventures traveling has to offer, I feel it is necessary to learn about the world as much as you can - See things though other people's eyes!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I will share anything that will make my host happy because they are being nice enough to let me stay! But most of all I will bring good conversation - I mean real conversation. About life, happiness, sadness, the universe, my country, your country, our childhood. Anything. I want to meet and learn about as many people as possible. I want to make life long friends in my travels!
