About Me
CURRENT MISSION
I want to see the entire world, well at least as much of it as I can before I croak.
ABOUT ME
I'm one of those happy people who loves learning from others and finding myself in new places and cultures. I did some travelling before I started my nine years of university and then put it on hold for awhile to do the education thing. Since I graduated, I've been on the road for a better part of two years now, doing everything from camping across Australia, to sleeping in Caves in Rapa Nui (Easter Island). I rode a bicycle from Seattle to San Fransisco raising funds for BC childrens hospital which was great. (But hard!) There more places I go and see, the more places I want to go and see and the less I feel I know about anything in life.
PHILOSOPHY
My personal philosophy in life is simple--- Everyone out there has a story, every person has their own struggle, fights their own battle, in their own way. A hug, a smile for a stranger on the street, a postcard to the guy who carried your bag up the hill, a box of mac and cheese, whatever it is that brings someone a smile in their day is worth it. You never know what is hidden behind that persons skin, and that smile you helped deliver might be just the single thing that gets them through that day.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Currently I have not had a "real home" for sometime so I do not have a couch to offer to someone, but I'd share my food and sleeping bag to with the camper next to me. I have done mostly hostels, hotels, sometimes cruiseships (I danced on them) camping, etc etc, I think this sounds like an amazing way to enrich other peoples lives.

Music, Movies, and Books
OMG--- I have to list movies, books and music here? Wow..... Im in the dance composition industry if I listed musical selections here I could get in trouble! Books and movies: I will be proud to say I love uber trashy chick flicks and 1970's falling apart at the seams romance novels.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Wow-- tough question.
I loved South America, Australia has great surf culture, Europe is well.... Europe... need I say more. Fiji has the most beautiful amazing friendly people on the planet. Egypt has history that would take years to really grasp. Riding a bicycle to San Fransisco was physically challenging. Its hard to pick?
Teach, Learn, Share
There are a variety of experiences that I have wanted to try and understand in life. There are two things that have impacted me most. 1) I wanted to experience life as a homeless person 2) I wanted to experience life with a physical disability. Living in both of those conditions is difficult and testing. I spent two weeks "living off the land" in Fiji and grew to understand hunger and frustration. I spent a week living in a wheelchair as a socio-psyc project and grew to understand what it means to feel isolated and looked down at. I would love to meet others from around the world whom can teach me about what it is like to live in their shoes.
