Hi Guys, I'm Maprang, Silvan's best friend. Well, he is one of the nicest guy I've ever met. He is always energetic, witty and goes around with a big sincere smile. Once I talk to him, I know that he is truly listening to me and open-minded to understand any circumstance. And yeah, he is a world explorer loving simplicity and to be around nature. He enjoys to be with good company talking, sharing opinions and doing activities.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm all new to the couchsurfing page. Until now, I've been the old school type by getting a hostel and went from there. But I'd like to meet local people as they always know the best places in their city.

Interests

In my spare time: The most enjoyable moments are when I pack a few necessities in a bag, and leave to the countryside for camping, hiking, biking, or other adventures. But I also have a pleasant time in urban areas when I have a cup of espresso in a lovely coffee shop, or when I hang out with friends and have a beer after a beach volley match.

During my travels: I seek to get to know different cultures and ways of life. I prefer to travel slowly and get in touch with local people and traditions rather than doing sightseeing and visiting tourist attractions.

For my studies: I dedicate my efforts to a more sustainable energy resource management and energy production by doing research for new renewable energy technologies. And finally I will save the world... =)
