About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To not so boldly go where many tourists have gone before!
ABOUT ME
A typical Cancerian with a love for staying at home and well within my comfort zone, I feel the need to challenge my tiny tiny boundaries and get out into the world. So I'm doing a solo tour around Europe with a few occasional forays into Africa which has been somewhat confronting as a young, Asian female that doesn't speak the native language most of the time.
I think of myself as a geeky wallflower, though I love talking to people and learning their stories. I'm not too into seeing the sights so much as living in a place a few days at a time and absorbing the differences.
People tell me I view life on a bit of a different slant. I think that just makes it more interesting.
PHILOSOPHY
To see what there is to see, to trust beyond all shadow of a doubt, to live life as open and willing as possible. To forgive even when hurt and to never shut myself off from new experiences.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I watched the sun rise over the curve of the earth from the plane window and thought about how crazy it was to be so high to experience such a thing, how commonplace it is these days to fly.
Teach, Learn, Share
I taught English in Japan for a year, I can knit exceptionally fast, I play the piano, I love random trivia and the knowing of things. Scientist by education and inclination, I think the world is beautiful and love to know and share my knowledge of how it works.
Countries I’ve Visited
Austria, China, Malta, Morocco, Slovenia, Spain, United Kingdom
Countries I’ve Lived In
Australia, Ireland, Japan
