HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I would like to meet people on my travel and maybe stay with them for a night? I would also love to show people around in my town, if anyone is visiting....I have a small room with couch etc to share...

new to couch surfing and therefore no experiences so far, but I am looking forward to meeting new people!

books: mostly bengali novels,comics,sci-fi etc. :)
music: most times pop and rock and musical stuff, but also some singer songwriter, every now and then hip hop or soul or reggae or Tagore songs or Baul or Sufi or Fusion ...
movies: everything that has some spark followed by a good story! (serendipity, sweet November, Hereafter...)In general I like the smaller productions and not so much the big budgeted flicks.
