My name is Sílvia and I'm from a little town in central Catalonia. I study biochemistry in Barcelona so during the week I live near the University.
On weekends I love chatting with my friends having a beer in the center of the town, being with the boys and girls of the scouts, going trekking, playing the guitar or the piano and rehearsing with the batucada group. Oh, and of course I'm always ready for a festival!
I consider myself a peaceful person, open-minded, optimistic, open to new adventures and eager to discover different places and cultures.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I do not want to travel just to see the "must see" places. For me, traveling is much more than this: it is learning. And the best way to learn is to be in contact with the people of the area, to live like them and to discover their culture at first hand.
