Current Mission

My best friend Diogo is planning a crazy road trip on his motorcycle from Porto to Prague (~3000km), and I will join him for the second half! 🏍 We plan to travel together for 4/5 days from Geneva to Prague, staying only with couchsurfing hosts to meet some locals on our way and make the experience 10 times more fulfilling than if we were staying in empty-life Airbnbs...

So let me tell you a bit about myself 😁

I like to get out of my comfort zone every once in a while and get out there, so I did three Erasmus: half a year in Split, Croatia (best time of my life!), another half year in Porto, Portugal, and finally some months in Brno, Czech Republic, where I stayed working for now 3 years. When I was younger, I used to go abroad alone every second summer to learn English, starting when I was 13. Since then, I love to travel and yearn to be abroad on my own from a young age.

My biggest interest is to get to know international people from all over the world and from different cultures, building incredible friendships and ever-lasting memories. So I can have the excuse to go visit them in their home country (and get free accommodation! haha😁 ).

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I had the most incredible Couchsurfing experience on my trip around Switzerland with my friend Midi. I met the most fascinating people staying around the country with different hosts, and I'm so so grateful for it.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My first Erasmus in Croatia was 4 years ago, and just a few weeks after I arrived, COVID-19 started. I was alone in an unknown country to me and my family asking me to come back before the borders closed. Against everything, I decided to stay. After only a month, Croatia went back to 'normal' and I had the best time of my life there, met the most incredible people and visited the whole country in the span of 3 months. While in Spain there was a quarantine for more than 4 months, so I guess I was lucky to make the right choice!

Aaaand also, the coolest thing was my trip around Switzerland with my friend Midi, where we were moving around hitchhiking and staying only with Couchsurfing hosts for a week!

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you the basics of playing guitar, I started to learn by myself years ago so I know a thing or two (not a pro though!). 😁 Also some Spanish of course! 💃🏼

And I would love to learn about basically anything you have to offer! 😁
