Hey, people! I'm 18 years old and come from Bulgaria (a beautiful country in East South Europe) :) Since I've been learning German at school for 4 years I decided to go on exchange in Germany because of my interest to learn the language and get to know the Germans and their culture. I'm really happy I made this decision - being on exchange is a really great experience you just can't describe with words. I believe there are many extraordinary trips to come! This summer I'm planning to visit Italy, France, Austria, Germany (again :D) and Greece ^^
I am an ambivert - I like being with people and sharing my moments with others, but I also need time for myself. I am in peace with who I am and don't need approval to feel happy. Actually, I would say that I've reached a point where I can't complain about nothing, I am just totally contented with how things are going. We don't need much to enjoy life - my grandma taught me that enough is as good as feast and that somehow applies for me.
*Back in town after my exchange year, enjoying life in Bulgaria. It's both nice and awkward to be home.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm open to learn new things, meet people with different views and culture and hopefully have a great time! Besides, as a young person without own finances I have to be creative, if I want to travel :D :P
I pretty much get to like everything if I feel it is positive ^^ I like to help people and listen to their stories, it makes me feel human. I can't live without hugging others which I missed in Germany. I have good vibes and smile even if I have had a bad day, it just makes me feel better. I call that self-influenced mood or therapy.
Music, Movies, and Books
Well, what should I say... I love Ed Sheeran's music and Cecelia Ahern's books. I admit that I like typical girly books but I also used to watch series like The Arrow, Grimm, Supernatural and so on (now I don't have the time for that). In February I watched "Demain tout commence" in cinema and realised how good European movies can be. So now I'm not so sceptical about European cinema.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I've won scholarships and school contests. I was part of the Bulgarian Red Cross Youth and helped orphans.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can help with learning German even though it is not my mother tongue.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Since I am good at school I can help kids with homework. I can also help with housework and gardening :) ^^ If you want me to, I can cook some Bulgarian dishes for you or bake you some muffins, cookies, etc.
Countries I’ve Visited
