ABOUT ME
Like most people, I look normal from far away. But if I had to choose one word to describe myself it would be "feral". For the rest you can read my profile, or better yet: meet me in person :)
PHILOSOPHY
In Spanish there is a saying: "Si quieres hacer reir a Dios, cuentale tus planes". ("if you want to make God laugh, tell him your plans). To me, this means: life is a big river and you better enjoy flowing with it.
I believe each one of us is a world, a mix of feelings, achievements, pains and joys. It's impossible to classify someone by just one or a few aspects. People are much more than that, always.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I am a slow traveler so I usually don´t hop from one couch to the next. I prefer more intense and long lasting bonds with fellow couchsurfers, which is usually hard to achieve in "one night" stays.
My only limitation when couchsurfing is this: I am allergic to cigarette smoke so I unfortunately I will have to decline any company or host that smokes :(
Interests
I am a yoga instructor and write poetry and fiction. I have practiced a couple of extreme sports in the past: skydiving and enduro. Of course I love exploring and traveling, but I don't enjoy visiting touristy places. Oh, yes, and I like eating very much (I am not a vegetarian, like many people think ;) ).
I recently worked on a writing project that merged two of my passions: yoga and writing. "Cambiar Aires" is a breathing manual based on pranayama exercises. For now it is only in Spanish but if you want to check it out it´s right here:

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I celebrated my very first birthday on an airplane, during a transatlantic flight. I trully believe that marked me for life because I have been on the move ever since, suffering from severe wanderlust (and I still keep that first passport as a lucky charm).
An experience that influenced me a lot: my trips in the Amazon forest. Being in contact with nature in such an overwhelming environment changed me in very subtle ways that have moulded my view of life.
Ever since I was a young girl I have been blessed with having wonderful nephews and nieces with whom I have shared the most fulfilling moments of my life. They keep me young and alive with their freshness (and now that some of them are old enough, they even look after me some times). Being an aunt is definitively my most cherished feeling.
