About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To squeeze the fun out of every moment in life

ABOUT ME

I am a hopeless dreamer, and there's a story behind it ;) I never had my feet ón the ground. My head was always full of dreams and idealistic thoughts which is why I work in the development field :) I grew up in Spain, in a city by the seaside, but I am also french, british, italian, japanese, indian, moroccan, dutch, belgian, malagasy, and loads more to come. I believe that the world is NOT the way it is, but the way WE make it and`it only takes some wishful thinking to change things.

PHILOSOPHY

I dont feel wise enough to have my own philosophy, I think it takes years of experience and know oneself fairly well and our life purpose. But I do believe in solidarity, honestly and freedom. I am aware of the world I live in and, very idealisticly, I try to contribute to its improvement.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am rather new on couchsurfing and although I never stick around long enough to be able to host people, I participate in cs meetings and met some of my best friends through couchsurfing. When I'm not stuck at home studying, I try to be there for whoever needs me, cs or not.

Interests

The things I love the most:

Speding enough time in a foreign country and make it my home for a little while, those books you just can't put down and keep you awake until early hours of the morning, a jams session in the BIZON, watching a beautiful sunset, listening to my grandfather's stories about his childhood, laughing until I cry (I love this one), looking up in the sky during rainstorms, summer rainstorms, an amazing landscape, and many other things yet to find out.

Music, Movies, and Books

De la Alcarria al Himalaya de Miguel Angle Diaz Dancing at the dead sea by Alanna Mitchell
Alice in Woderland by Lewis Carrol
The god of small things by Arundaty Roy
Riot by Shashi Tharoor

I feel music can make you travel without even moving from your seat. I like listening to all sorts of music. Amadou et Mariam, Tiken Jah Fakoli, Rosana, Corneille, Celia Cruz, Nancy Ajram, Elsiane, Bjork...
I enjoy any type of music made with passion and a bit of madness.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have heard the sound of a whale while diving in the Indian ocean...priceless.
