I'm from China, currently studying in a Masters' program on Cultural Studies in Belgium. I love to travel and I would like to take this opportunity of living one year in Europe to explore as many places as I can. Music: IDM, indie rock, experimental rock, Dub-step, my all-time favorite musicians include Sigur Ros, Amon Tobin, Joy Division, Sonic Youth, The Strokes, Bob Dylan, and 65daysofstatic.
Movies: I like all kinds of movies, but especially witty films, either thrillers with a twist such as The Game, Prisoners, Mulholland Dr., and Following, or films with subtle humor such as Mysterious Train, Kikujirō no Natsu and Shaun of the Dead.
TV shows: I like political satires such as The Thick of It, Yes Minister, and Veep, I also like shows such as The Trip and The Moaning of Life.
Books: fictions by George Orwell, Joseph Heller, and Irvine Welsh; non-fictions by authors such as Jung Chang, Amit Gilboa, and Rob Gilford.
