Overview
About Me
Originally from Indonesia, I’ve been living in Stockholm since 2023. I’m currently finishing a Master’s degree in Political Science with a focus on Environmental Social Science. I am constantly craving to exploring different cultures, meeting new people, and having meaningful conversations.
I consider myself open-minded, curious, and always eager to learn something new. Studying is more than just a pursuit—it's my hobby. I have a wide range of interests, so that's what I'm trying to do on my free time (although at the end, Netflix provides the easiest comfort for tired brain from a whole week working). I try to work on creative projects like writing (blog post of topic that intrigues me at the moment), dancing (bachata, ballet, hiphop), to learning ukulele.
I also love cooking. Tinkering recipes to find the balance of flavor and nutrition in a dish. Culinary adventure and discovering local gems in every city I visit are things I always look forward to.
I am more interested in places and activities that locals do as a part of their daily living than overcrowded, overpriced touristy destinations.
For me, traveling is about connecting with people and sharing stories. Whether we’re exploring local spots together, exchanging ideas over coffee, or enjoying music and art.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To seek connection, no matter how short or long, how weak or strong it is. Meeting people brings color to one's life. Although I can't provide my couch at the moment, I can host meetups. Touring the city, casual meetup over coffee, or being a company to a certain destination is definitely a-yes!
Aligned to what I wrote above, CS is the best community to learn about new place and culture from local's perspective!

Music, Movies, and Books
Music
Hania Rani; Ludovico Einaudi; Bittersweet Symphony - The Verve; To Build a Home - The Cinematic Orchestra
I need more reference for karaoke nights!
Movies
Me Before You; Howl's Moving Castle. It's difficult to say which ones are my favorite, it depends on the mood and what kind of vibe I am looking for at the exact moment.
Books
Maybe you should talk to someone - Lori Gottlieb
I resort to book more than I care to count when I try to answer lingering questions about life.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Probably the journey that lead me to the other side of the world to pursue my dream. Sweden is quite different from Indonesia in many ways, and also bizarrely similar in others.
Teach, Learn, Share
Teach: trivias about local culture, and many more. I am a jack of all trades, master of none.
Learn: language, recipe, daily life of people, any kind of interest, more trivias!
What I Can Share with Hosts
Food. I love to feed people, especially with homemade food. Feeding people is my love language. I also like to introduce cultures through culinary exploration, food or beverage. I may bring something from my place of departure (wherever I come from during that travel).
