ABOUT ME

I have a business that publishes books and organises events authors Latvia.
I'm fun, really positive and hard working bookgirl who can find beauty in everything. I love to meet new people.
I really want to see new places and meet new interesting people.
I like all kinds of animals and I'm also dog handler (one of many odd professions I have)

PHILOSOPHY

Everything happens for a reason, if something good is happening with you, you know you're doing something right, if something goes wrong, you know, you need to change something in your way of living and everything will anyways be good after all.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Until now I have hosted 1 person from China and it was amazeing experiance. And I have surfed on 6 couches in Berlin (Germany), Olzstin (Poland) and Colombian Falls (MT, USA), Ketchikan (AK, USA), Milan (Italy), Slave Lake (AB, Canada). Everyone was very nice to me, so I will definitely surf more. :)

I like to learn about different cultures and I can share about Latvian culture with you since I know a lot of history and grew up in a household were old traditions were a big part of lifestyle.
I like to look for beautiful places, but for me a lot of ordinary things are beautiful, so it's easy to make me really like a place.
I like board games.
I like the sunshine while it's raining.
I like books.
I LOVE chocolate and all kinds of sweets.

Movies: August Rush (the most favorite), Seacret life of Walter Mitty. Then I realy like cartoons like Wreck-It Ralph, Despicable Me, Hotel Transilvania, Lorax, How train your dragon. My favorite movie - Divergent.

Music: I love Latvian folk, I like Rock'n'roll and country but i'm opened to almost all kinds of music

Books: psychology, fiction novels, sales, finance books

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Sold books with Southwestern Advantage in USA, Canada and UK for 7 summers
But if you ask for more then...
I almost got to the top of Toubkal in Morocco. I reached around 4000m, but it was in winter, I was underweight and the wind was 70km/h so they sent me down :D
I have hitchhiked with my best friend from Athens to Latvia in under 10 days but spent 5 of those days moving from one place in Greece to another to really experience it.
Went to Tbilisi Georgia to recruit students to sell books with me in USA without ever been to Georgia before :D
Lived in Alaska for 3 months. Started in Anchorage/Eagle River area then moved to Juneau and ended my summer in Ketchikan. I took almost all of the transports - foot, bicycle, car, ferry and plane just to travel between Alaska :D
And the infamous story of Tenerife, Canary Islands. Long story short - we had fun by getting lost on Maska hike and we ended up being "rescued" and brought back to hotel at 5 am :D This is where my business got it's name. Ask me about it and you will hear a story of a lifetime ;)
