About Me

Hi! I'm originally from Córdoba but have been living in Jesús María (a charming town in the province of Córdoba) since 2014—though I’ve been working in the area since way back in 1997. I started out as an English teacher and translator, and over time life led me into the world of alternative therapies, where I now work as a facilitator helping others reconnect with themselves.

Travel has shaped who I am. As a teenager, I went on an exchange to France, and years later I traveled to the UK for personal growth—which turned out to be a transformative experience that completely changed the direction of my work and life. I’ve also enjoyed exploring Uruguay, Chile, and Brazil, and I hope to keep discovering the world one connection at a time.

I’m talkative, curious, and always up for deep conversations or light-hearted fun. In my free time, you’ll likely find me out on a trail, lost in a book, or watching a great series. I'm passionate about learning and I'm currently studying Portuguese, Dutch, and even a bit of Welsh!

I believe life is unfolding just as it should, and the best way to honor it is to live each day fully and mindfully—especially when shared in good company.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I’m on Couchsurfing because I genuinely love the magic that happens when people from different cultures connect. There's something special about sharing stories, traditions, laughs, and even silences with someone whose background is different from yours—it expands your world in the most beautiful way. I believe that every person we meet brings something unique, and I’m always curious to learn about others’ journeys, perspectives, and ways of life.

Languages are a big passion of mine, and Couchsurfing gives me a great excuse to keep practicing them in a natural, fun way. Whether it's a full conversation in English or French, a few phrases in Portuguese, or exchanging words in Dutch or Welsh, I enjoy the playfulness and depth that comes with multilingual connections.

For now, I’m excited to be a host. I take a lot of joy in creating cozy, welcoming spaces where guests can truly relax and feel at home. I’m attentive to the little things that make a big difference—whether it’s offering a warm drink after a long journey, giving tips for local spots, or simply being present and open for a good chat. My intention is that everyone who stays with me leaves feeling they’ve found not just a place to sleep, but a meaningful experience and hopefully a new friend.

Music, Movies, and Books

When it comes to music, I have a soft spot for English rock and pop. I’m a big fan of Imagine Dragons, Lady Gaga, Coldplay, David Bowie, and Oasis—but I’m always open to discovering new sounds from around the world. If you have a favorite artist or playlist, I’d love to hear it!

My favorite movies and series usually belong to the fantasy genre—I love being transported to other worlds and diving into epic stories. That said, I also enjoy psychological thrillers and investigative series that keep me guessing and thinking.

As for books, I don’t have one all-time favorite, but I absolutely love reading novels and short stories. I enjoy being swept away by a good narrative, especially when it explores human emotions, relationships, or inner journeys. I’m always up for a book chat or a good recommendation!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One of the most meaningful and amazing things I’ve done was publishing a book of my mum’s poems after she passed away. She had a beautiful soul and a gift with words, and I wanted to honor her voice and the legacy she left behind. The book was released during a heartwarming event where friends and family came together to celebrate her life, share memories, and keep her spirit alive through her poetry. It was an emotional, unforgettable moment—full of love, tears, laughter, and deep connection.

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach:
I love sharing what I’ve learned through my work and life. I can teach Spanish or English, and I enjoy language exchanges with anyone curious or willing to practice. I also have experience as a facilitator of alternative therapies—so if you're interested, I can guide you through simple breathing exercises, grounding techniques, or mindful practices to help with relaxation and presence. I'm also happy to share insights about Argentinian culture, mate rituals, or even help translate a few phrases into different languages.

Learn:
I’m a lifelong learner and always curious. I’d love to learn more about your language, your culture, your favorite food or book, or the way you see the world. I'm especially interested in picking up more Portuguese, Dutch, and Welsh, so even just hearing a few words or practicing basic phrases makes me happy. I also enjoy learning new perspectives—about life, travel, spirituality, or creativity.

Share:
What I enjoy most is sharing quality time—whether that’s over a homemade meal, a walk in nature, a deep conversation, or a spontaneous laugh. I can share my home with warmth and care, offer good tips about Córdoba and Jesús María, and create a space that feels calm, open, and safe. I’m here not just to host or be hosted, but to truly connect.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I love spending time with people and creating a warm, friendly atmosphere. I’m always up for sharing stories, preparing a simple meal together, or just having a great conversation over tea or mate. If you’re into languages, I’m happy to help with Spanish or English, or even exchange a few phrases in French or Portuguese.

As a facilitator of alternative therapies, I’m always open to sharing relaxation techniques, breathing exercises, or simple tools for well-being if someone is curious or in need of that kind of support. I also know some lovely nature spots around Jesús María and the Córdoba area, so I’d be glad to point you in the right direction—or even join for a walk if timing works out!

More than anything, I bring openness, kindness, and a genuine interest in connecting. I hope that staying with me (or hosting me) feels like being welcomed by a friend you hadn’t met yet.
